The founder of HRD Consulting Services, LLC is Phyllis L. Tate. Phyllis has a passion for human resources and has spent a culmination of the past 20 years working in HR professional roles in academia, private sector, and state government that has led to demonstrated experience and skills in each functional area of the human resources field. 

She holds a PhD in Education Policy, Organization and Leadership, and Masters in Human Resource Education with an emphasis on Human Resource Development both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Including a Masters of Science in Education and Bachelor's in Career and Organizational Studies from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL. 

These degrees complement each other focusing on human resource issues and leadership issues in various organization settings.
